User responsibility

Transcripts and captions may be protected by copyright. Users must have permission or another lawful basis before downloading, storing, sharing, translating, or republishing them.

No public transcript publication

CaptionFetch does not intentionally create publicly indexed transcript pages. Saved query history is private to the account.

Notices

Rights holders may report alleged infringement to copyright@captionfetch.com. A valid notice should identify the protected work, the affected URL or record, the reporter’s contact details, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement, and a physical or electronic signature.

Response

We may preserve evidence, restrict access, remove stored data, suspend repeat infringers, and request further information. A counter-notice process should be added based on the law governing the operating entity before launch.
