Permitted use

You may use CaptionFetch only for content you own, are authorized to process, or may lawfully use. You are responsible for copyright, privacy, contractual, and platform-policy compliance.

Prohibited use

Do not bypass access restrictions, process private or protected media without authorization, infringe intellectual property, overload the service, automate access outside a provided API, distribute malware, or use the service unlawfully.

Third-party platforms

CaptionFetch is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google. Availability depends on third-party services and can change without notice.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and protect access credentials. Anonymous visitors may download a limited number of transcripts each day; registered accounts download without a daily cap, subject to fair-use and anti-abuse limits.

Subscriptions and billing

Plus and Pro are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions billed in INR through Razorpay. By subscribing you authorize a recurring charge at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period and then reverts to the free plan. Except where required by law, charges for a billing period already started are non-refundable. Statutory refund and cancellation rights are unaffected. We may change plan pricing or features on prospective notice.

AI-generated content

Plus translation and the Pro content suite (summaries, blog posts, newsletters, study notes, quizzes, and social posts) are produced by an automated third-party language model. Output may contain errors and is provided without warranty; you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying it before use, and for ensuring any content you publish complies with applicable law and the destination platform’s rules.

Availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may limit abusive traffic, modify features, suspend accounts, or discontinue integrations to maintain security and compliance.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CaptionFetch is not liable for indirect losses, third-party platform changes, content accuracy, or unlawful use by users. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
